· Oxygen rich environments and sunshine - Ensure that their rooms are well ventilated and are getting enough sunshine.
· Have visitors who will raise the patients hope and make them feel loved and worthy.

The kind of food they eat also helps in speeding up the healing process. Vitamins and proteins should be in plenty as well as energy giving foods. Some medication usually affects the bowels and the appetite of the patient. Ensure that you encourage them to eat for the betterment of their health. If there is a particular food or fruit they favor over others, use that to your advantage. Try mixing up different foods, fruits and vegetables to kill the boredom of having to eat the same thing over and over. Proteins are critical for healing. Ensure that they are in plenty in form of chicken, beef or veal soups. If the patient is a vegetarian, you can opt for other foods that are rich in that nutrient.

3. Proper and professional care
Some wounds would become infected and require more attention and care. For instance, a diabetic person may fall and get a wound on their back. Due to their diabetic condition, the wound would not heal like normal persons. Therefore, a wound VAC machine would be used to promote healing. This therapeutic technique is used for chronic wounds and has proven very successful.
